Kyra is currently attending the University of Prince Edward Island and is working toward her Bachelor of Science in biology with hopes of attending the Atlantic Veterinary College. She began volunteering at the Montague Veterinary Clinic in 2018 and has been working as an assistant at both the Montague and Souris Clinics since 2022. Kyra enjoys small animal medicine, surgery, and nutrition.

She was born and raised in Annandale, PEI. Currently she is living at home with her parents, Greg and Louise, her brother Koen, and their golden retriever, Sadie.
